If you don't know for sure that you will go to heaven -- it is as easy as A, B, C!

A - Admit you're a sinner. The Bible (God's Word) says, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God," (Romans 3:23). All means every one of us. God said that sin must be punished. The punishment for sin is death -- to be separated from God forever (Romans 6:34). There is nothing that you can do to earn your way into heaven. You can never be good enough to please God and you will always fall short of God's glory. Because God loves you so much, He made a way for you to be forgiven.

B - Believe in Him. If you believe on the Lord Jesus as your Savior, He will forgive you of all of your sin and He will be with you always and give you power to obey God. Acts 2:21 tells us that "everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved." All you need to do is to believe on Him.

C - Confess that you are a sinner. God loves you so much that He sent His own Son, the Lord Jesus Christ (John 3:16) to die for your sin in your place. The Bible says that without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness (Hebrews 9:22). The Lord came to earth to take our punishment for sin. "Christ died for our sins and was buried" (1 Corinthians 15:3). But after three days God raised Jesus from the dead. He is a living Savior (1 Corinthians 15:4). He wants to be your Savior. Jesus is the only way to heaven and John 14:6 tells us that "...He is the way, truth, and life and there is no way to the Father except through Him".

If you have not already received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, you can do it right now. All you need to do is surrender to Him.

Here is an idea of a prayer of repentance that you can follow:

Dear Jesus,

Please forgive me of all my sins. I trust You as my Savior. Come into my life right now. I am giving You complete control. Help me to learn how to let You live through me.

Thank You,
Amen.
